Chalice Diamond Corp. has staked and optioned approximately 170,000 hectares of prospective ground in the Wawa-Missanabie region of Ontario. As one of the largest land holders in this emerging diamond district, Chalice Diamond Corp. is conducting exploration and drilling programs designed to further test known diamond-bearing kimberlite dykes and explore potential kimberlite pipes identified by recent ground and airborne geophysical surveys. The road-accessible land package is near existing infrastructure and is considered prospective for other mineral deposit types, including promising gold and nickel-copper targets that warrant follow-up exploration.
Chalice Diamond Corp. is part of the Hughes Exploration Group and is managed by a team with a stellar track record of discovery and mine development in Canada.
